An explanation of the difference between CEU and hours for continuing education courses. Some States have different terms for the hours of continuing education. As an example, a course that is 10 hrs is actually 1.0 CEU in some states. This means you get 10 hrs of education contributed for your license renewal. In Texas, an hour is called a CCU.
