I will share the surgical perspective and the impact that decision in the surgical suite have on rehab.
I have been educating therapists for over 14 years. Throughout my career, I have had the unique opportunity of working alongside surgeons as they assessed patients to discuss their decision making process. Understanding a surgeon’s “algorithm” enabled me to identify specific surgical procedures and the projected outcomes. I have developed programs over the past 14 years which would enhance the outcomes of elbow, wrist and hand injuries and determine the best course of treatment for patients. -Edward Fiore, OTR/L, CHT, MED
