Ed Dobrzykowski, PT, DPT, ATC, MHS has worked in rehabilitation administration and management for over twenty-five years. He is presently System Director, Rehabilitation Services and Sports Medicine at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky with strategic and operations management for acute care, skilled nursing and outpatient therapy services. His career has spanned a variety of leadership, management, and training positions in non-profit healthcare systems, for-profit public companies, and private practice. During the past decade, Dr. Dobrzykowski has provided leadership and management training and consulting for 2000 rehabilitation leaders, managers and clinicians in over 100 workshops and seminars throughout the United States. Attendees span the rehabilitation continuum of practice, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech language pathologists, athletic trainers, nurses, and office managers with position titles including lead, senior, supervisor, manager, director and administrator of rehabilitation services. He is the former editor of Journal of Rehabilitation Outcomes Measurement. Active in the American Physical Therapy Association, Dr. Dobrzykowski has held multiple elected and appointed positions in the Section on Health Policy & Administration in three states (TN, IL, WA). He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Dr. Dobrzykowski earned his B.A. in Health & Safety Education/Athletic Training from Purdue University, B.S. in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University, M.H.S. from the University of Indianapolis, and D.P.T. from Rocky Mountain University.
